I haven't had time to answer this question, but let me just say that while in Vang Vieng, check out the Paddle Bar. For $5US, you get breakfast, kayaking for the morning, stopping to do some caving, then lunch, more kayaking, cliff jumping, and then time for a quick shower so you can rush back to the Paddle Bar for a free drink and live entertainment.
