Wire Transfers: Please allow up to 3 business days for wire transfer deposits to be processed and up to 7 business days for wire transfer withdrawals to be processed.

July 20, 2020: Bitbuy has lowered some of its fees and moved to some faster processing times. Interac e-Transfer funding/withdrawals are down from 1.75% to 1.5% with processing times within 1-4 hours between 8:00 AM - 11:59 PM EST and within 4-6 hours between 12:00 AM - 7:59 AM EST. Bitbuy Pro maker/taker fees are down from 0.16%/0.26% to 0.1%/0.2% and the Bitbuy Express trade sell fee is down from 0.75% to 0.5%.
May 29, 2020: Bitbuy has entered a partnership with Knox, an institutional Bitcoin custody provider, creating first 1:1 insured Bitcoin platform. This allows Bitbuy users to store their bitcoin holdings in an offline vault with insurance up to the full value of the holdings. Bitbuy will be Knox's first platform partner to be able to provide its customers with this insured Bitcoin wallet offering. They say that the Knox insurance policy covers the risk of bitcoin theft and loss, including internal theft such as collusion, up to the full value of the holdings held in cold storage subject to the full policy terms, conditions and exclusions.
